Ordering Methods

 

Online:    Ordering online is the most efficient method of ordering and we've tried to make it as easy as possible.  If you have any problems please call us at the number above.  Be assured that we have a secure site as described in more detail below. 

 

 

Phone:    If you prefer to order by phone you may call us at the above number during    our stated business hours.  If we are unavailable please leave us a message and your contact information and we will be glad to return your call.

 

 

Fax:   A printable order form is available for your convenience through our shopping cart.  Simply complete the form with your credit card information (including your 3 digit CVS number) and fax it to our toll free fax number listed above.

 

 

Mail:  A printable order form is available for your convenience through our shopping cart.  Simply complete the form with your credit card information (including your 3 digit CVS number) or include a check or money order and mail it to the address listed above.  If paying by check or money order be sure to calculate and include taxes and shipping costs as appropriate (Colorado residents must add 2.9% sales tax).

Shipping Policies

 

All in stock items are typically shipped within 1-2 business days.   You will be notified immediately of any items ordered that are out of stock.  We ship orders Monday thru Friday.  If you place an order on a weekend or national holiday it will be processed and shipped from our Colorado distribution center within 2 business days.

 

 

  Continental U.S.

 

UPS Ground is our standard method of shipment for continental U.S. addresses.  UPS will not deliver to a PO box.

 

UPS guarantees delivery schedules (typically 3 - 5 business days) and provides a convenient tracking system.  If you require faster delivery please contact us for a quote on express shipping to your region.  The additional shipping costs will apply to your order.

 

We are located in Western Colorado and have included a UPS delivery schedule map below which illustrates guaranteed transit times from our location to yours:

 

 

As an alternate, we can use Priority Mail which typically takes 3-5 days but there is no guarantee and limited ability to track your shipment.

Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO's and FPO's will be billed actual shipping costs and your adjusted  total will be sent by email.   

 

 

International Orders

 

All international orders must be paid by credit card (U.S. dollars only).   Additional shipping charges will apply.   We will obtain a shipping quote and contact you via email for your approval. Customs and import taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.  

 

Due to the potential for fraud, we reserve the right to refuse to ship our products to any country or territory outside of the US.

Payment in full must be received before an order can be shipped.     Orders over $50.00 may be held until your check is cleared by the bank.  All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 service fee.

   
 

Sales Tax:    We are required by law to collect sales tax for shipments within the State of Colorado.

   
  Returns:   We are sorry but returns of used merchandise will not be accepted due to potential health concerns.  We want all of our customers to be confident that we don't resell merchandise that has been exposed to other birds.
  Shipping Errors (Damaged, Wrong or Missing Items):  If you have a problem with your order for any reason please contact us.  We must be notified within 72 hours of order receipt if any of the above conditions exists.
  Backorders:    In the unusual instance that we may be out of stock on an item our backorder policy is as follows:
  • If we expect the item to be back in stock within 5 days we will hold your order until it can ship complete.

  • If it will take > 5 days but < 2 weeks we will ship this item to you separately without additional shipping charges to you as long as merchandise value of your original order was over $50.00.

  • If the item is expected to be > 2 weeks, we will not backorder this item.

When you place an order or sign up for information, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and so forth. Your name and address information is used solely for verifying your identity and processing your order.  It is imperative that you provide us with accurate contact information in the event we have a problem with your order.


We do not purchase, sell or share names or any other info about our customers with third parties. We will not disclose any personal information unless required by law to do so.  Information contained within general email inquiries is used solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.


We will occasionally send notices of special events and sales to our customers if they have requested it. We will always give you the opportunity to be removed from our e-mail mailing list.
